Certifications

At Organic Reworks, we're helping to improve our planet's environment by trying to make our raw materials and production processes as sustainable as possible.

That's why we take extra steps to strengthen traceability throughout our supply chain. We limit the number of suppliers, build relationships with farmers and ginners, are one of the few companies that conducts their own random testing, and strive to meet the commitments we make to our customers and to ourselves.

Gots

The Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) is the world's leading standard for organic fibre production. This certification is based on both ecological and social criteria and is the strictest for organic cotton. It guarantees that cotton is grown organically and without using genetically modified seeds or harmful chemicals. It also ensures product traceability from the harvesting of raw materials to the end customer, with transaction certificates at all stages of production.

OCS

The Organic Content Standard (OCS) is a voluntary, international standard that determines the presence and amount of organic material in a final product. It follows the path taken by the raw material from its origin to the final product. This standard applies to Organic Reworks products that contain less than 70% organic cotton.

OEKO - TEX

OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 is one of the most widely recognized standards in the world for determining the presence of harmful substances in textiles. Our certification guarantees that Organic Reworks products are free of chemicals that could be harmful to human health or the environment. Standard 100 also prohibits the use of potentially harmful substances, even if they are not formally prohibited, and ensures that our products comply with the European Union's REACH regulation.

BCI

BCI stands for Better Cotton Initiative. It is an initiative that promotes standards in cotton farming as well as throughout the entire supply chain – from farmer to retailer. BCI does not only refer to an initiative, but is also a non-profit organization. The BCI promotes sustainable cotton farming and production in more than 20 countries.
